The Hospital Playlist cast Kim Dae Myung, Jeon Mi Do, Jung Kyung Ho, Jo Jung Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok sent fans into a major frenzy after teasing the public with their reunion.
It came after Jung Kyung Ho, who plays cardiothoracic surgeon Kim Jun Wan, posted a snap on February 14, featuring the lead stars of the beloved medical Kdrama wearing their hospital uniforms.
Shortly after the Prison Playbook star’s Instagram post, Kim Dae Myung, who took on the role of obstetrics and gynecology doctor Yang Seok Hyung shared an almost similar photo but from a different angle.
With the surprising reunion photo, Kdrama fans speculated that the beloved medical series is returning for the much-awaited season 3.
Is Hospital Playlist 3 Possible?
Following Kim Kyung Ho and Kim Dae Myung’s Instagram post, fans are hoping that Hospital Playlist will return for its third installment.
Apparently, there’s a reason behind the 99ers reunion photo.
On February 17, the Kdrama’s official Instagram account shared a photo featuring the lead stars and PD Shin Won Ho.
Over the caption, it was confirmed that Hospital Playlist would be produced in a Blu-ray set, noting, “It will include seasons 1 and 2 as well as a special commentary by the actors! The set is coming soon, so stay tuned for just a little bit.”
However, the post gained mixed reactions as some viewers expressed their disappointment, saying that they look forward to confirmation of season 3.
Unfortunately, the Hospital Playlist reunion photo was in preparation for the Blu-ray announcement.

PD Shin Won Ho Gets Honest About Hospital Playlist 3
Following the triumphant finale of the second sequel, PD Shin Won Ho spoke about the public’s demand for another season.
According to Soompi, the director expressed that it is unlikely for the medical Kdrama to return for season 3.
He explained the difficulty of producing a new installment but gave viewers hope after he revealed that “there are still a lot of stories left to tell about the patients and their guardians,” as well as the main characters’ stories.
After the second season ended, Jeon Mi Do, who took the role of neurosurgeon Chae Song Hwa is starring in the new drama Thirty-Nine with Son Ye Jin and Kim Ji Hyun.
Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon Seok is in talks to headline the series MonWedFriTuesThursSat and The Accidental Narco.
