Kim Sae Ron might face DUI charges following a recent accident.
Yonhap and Asia Kyungjae first reported about Kim Sae Ron’s drunk driving incident.
The authorities initially received several calls about a car swerving on the road. When they responded to the scene, the vehicle in question had already hit roadside structures around Cheongdam-dong's Hakdong intersection thrice.
After the news broke, new details surrounding the incident emerged.

Kim Sae Ron’s Crash Caused Power Interruption
Police confirmed that Kim Sae Ron collided her car with an electric transformer box on the side of the road in the area.
Additional investigation reports said her SUV crashed the box so much that its protective enclosure was also destroyed. Witnesses claimed that Kim Sae Ron hit the box multiple times and caused loud noises.

Instead of checking the damages, she reportedly attempted to drive off.
This caused power outages in several buildings and traffic lights. The incident also caused several businesses to close down temporarily until the repairs were completed after five hours.
The police also asked her to take a breathalyzer test to determine whether she drove under the influence. However, the actress refused to do so and told them she would undergo a blood test instead in a hospital.
“The report from the citizen stated that she hit the guardrails several times. The driver wants to conduct a blood alcohol test, so we will confirm the exact charges after the test results are out,” a police official said, per Star News.
Kim Sae Ron’s Agency Shares New Update
After the actress’ agency, Gold Medalist, said that it would look into the reports, it released a new update saying that Kim Sae Roon had already undergone a blood test before she was escorted home by her guardian.
The company also shared that the result would be available in two weeks. Once the result comes out, Kim Sae Ron would face the police for questioning.
Kim Sae Ron, before the incident, was tapped to appear in the drama to play the role of Kim Soo Bin. She is scheduled to work with Kim Mu Yeol, Park Hee Soon, and Kim Hyun Joo. The drama is yet to release a statement.
Her other project, the Netflix series Hunting Dogs, penned a separate statement.
“We’re currently in the middle of filming. The shooting schedule will be adjusted, and the public schedule will be announced as soon as it is arranged after a thorough discussion,” it went on.
