Kim Sae Ron received the verdict in her Road Traffic Act violation case.
The actress created a buzz when she was apprehended in May 2022 when she drove while under the influence of alcohol. She damaged several lampposts and rails in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam District and even caused a power outage that affected the businesses in the area after she hit an electric transformer.
The authorities found out that her blood alcohol level exceeded 0.08 percent, which was enough to have her driver's license revoked.

Kim Sae Ron Fined on DUI Case
On Wednesday, the actress appeared before the court as part of her Road Traffic violation case.
The Korea Times reported that the Seoul Central District Court confirmed she had to settle the 20 million KRW fine, around $15,260, in her first offense.
Kim Sae Ron's DUI incident led her to give up her appearance in a drama with Kim Mu Yeol, Park Hee Soon, and Kim Hyun Joo. She notably debuted as a child actress in the movie The Man from Nowhere.
Press waited for the actress outside the court; however, she declined to respond to their queries.

It remains unknown whether her driver's license has been revoked.
Her court appearance came a day after Dispatch released photos of her playing poker with her friends at a gaming pub.
"Kim Sae Ron hung out with male acquaintances and played the game happily in comfortable clothes," an informant told the news outlet. "It's not an illegal gambling place. This place charges chips with an application to buy game tickets. Chips are used to buy food and alcohol. You can never exchange money."
The source said Kim Sae Ron ordered beer and played for at least three hours at the gambling pub.
Kim Sae Ron Criticized for Staging Photos
The public called out Kim Sae Ron in March after the actress posted photos of herself working at a coffee shop that appeared to be Mega Coffee.
The store soon dismissed the reports that Kim Sae Ron was working at the shop, saying that the actress' friend once worked for them but quit in September 2022. It added that it does not know the photos were taken and that the snaps were not taken inside its store.
Mega Coffee ultimately denied that Kim Sae Ron worked as an employee there.
