Kim Ga Ram and Nam Joo Hyuk have reportedly been receiving different — and unfair — reactions from the public.
This year has been tough for both Kim Ga Ram and Nam Joo Hyuk after scoring their respective spotlights because of their individual endeavors.
Kim Ga Ram initially hyped K-pop fans as she was about to debut with the rookie girl group, LE SSERAFIM. Meanwhile, Nam Joo Hyuk earned more fans and attention after starring in the hit series, Twenty-Five Twenty-One.
Unfortunately, they were dragged down by their recent bullying allegations, but an online community insisted that one of them received unfair reactions and treatments.

Kim Ga Ram Being Treated Unfairly Compared With Actor Nam Joo Hyuk
In an online community, different fandoms reacted to how the public responded to the idol and actor’s controversies.
The post creator said that Kim Ga Ram suffered more after the allegations came out while Nam Joo Hyuk did not lose anything.
"People were posting so many things about Kim Garam when it (controversy) first came out but people are on neutral stance with Nam Joo Hyuk,” the post said.
In response to these, the two’s supporters shared their own opinion and revealed why Kim Garam seemingly received more condemnation.

One said that there were a lot of photos and videos that served as evidence of Kim Garam’s bullying allegation. It was also noted that the incidents she got involved in happened recently since she is still too young.
As for Nam Joo Hyuk, they believed that the Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo actor’s accusers changed their story a lot, losing their credibility while failing to bring him down.
Both of them have not addressed the issue directly.
Kim Ga Ram, Nam Joo Hyuk’s Bullying Allegations
The comparison started when the idol and actor faced bullying allegations this year.
Kim Garam was hit by the allegations soon after HYBE released her teaser photos and clip. Korean media outlets, including Trendbiz, shared photos of her from her former classmates, showing the idol committing underage smoking and drinking.
Screenshots of her conversation with her alleged victims also came up, but HYBE and Source Music soon released a joint statement to deny the accusations against her.
Meanwhile, Nam Joo Hyuk was also accused of underage drinking, cyberbullying, and bullying by three of his alleged former classmates. Management SOOP denied all the claims and launched legal action against the malicious comments.
These were also tagged as false by his former classmates and teachers interviewed by Dispatch.
