Wikitree shocked the K-pop industry with a report about Jay B and his girlfriend. The news outlet confirmed that the idol has been dating special effects artist and YouTuber PURE.D, whose real name is Kim Do Hyun, for nine months.
The news outlet added that Jay B and PURE.D started seeing each other after their first meeting through an acquaintance.

The couple’s representatives responded to the report, confirming the duo’s romantic relationship.
“They are cautious as they both have jobs where their faces are known to the public. They have been maintaining a good relationship for nine months. Please continue to support them,” their representatives went on.
She was Jay B’s first girlfriend as he and GOT7 members were not allowed to date when they were still under JYP Entertainment.

The news report added a few known facts about Kim Do Hyun.
The special effect artist has reportedly worked on countless films, series, and commercials. She also has a YouTube channel with nearly half-a-million subscribers.
In addition, PURE.D is reportedly older than Jay B, as she was born in 1992, while the K-pop idol was born in 1994.
So far, other personal details about Jay B’s girlfriend remain unknown.
Meanwhile, Jay B — who initially promoted under the name JB — made his debut as an actor in Dream High 2 a decade ago. In the same year, he became the other half of the JJ Project.
