Everyone anticipating the arrival of Batgirl were in shock to hear the news about its cancellation and Kevin Smith, an actor and filmmaker, slams Warner Bros. about their decision on scrapping Leslie Grace's movie saying, 'It's an incredibly bad look to cancel the Latina Batgirl movie."
Kevin Smith didn't slam the brakes in his latest episode of Hollywood Babble-On series as the decision of Warner Bros. in cancelling Batgirl didn't sit well with him, even claiming that the studio should've nixed The Flash instead of the Leslie Grace-led movie.
Kevin Smith is completely perplexed with the decision of Warner Bros. to cancel Batgirl, "It's an incredibly bad look to cancel the Latina Batgirl movie. I don't give a sh** if the movie was absolute f***ing dogsh** — I guarantee you that it wasn't."
Kevin Smith fully recognized the directors of the movie saying, "The two directors who directed that movie did a couple of episodes of Ms. Marvel, and it was a wonderful f***ing show and they had more money to do Batgirl than they had to do an episode of Ms. Marvel and stuff."
Smith added that no one working on Batgirl has been complicated unlike The Flash, "Nobody in that movie is very complicated or has anything in their real life you have to market around. But in The Flash movie, we all know there’s a big problem.”

Leslie Grace didn't even get the chance to make it on screen as Barbara Gordon in Batgirl as it was immediately canceled by Warner Bros. despite the film almost effectively finished given that it is already in the post-production stage.
It is still unknown whether Leslie Grace would be appearing as Batgirl in other DC films on Warner Bros., but her co-star in the cancelled movie, Michael Keaton, is still set to reprise his role as Batman/ Bruce Wayne in the upcoming The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller.
Meanwhile, The Flash is still being bombed by the fans following the news that it will still come out despite the problems with its lead star, Ezra Miller, who has been in the center of various allegations and accusations.
The fans of Batgirl took it online to try and convince Warner Bros. to release the film with the hashtags #SaveTheBatgirlMovie and #ReleaseTheBatgirl Movie. However, the call remains unheeded and Warner Bros. still sticks to their decision.
