Little by little, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been teasing the arrival of the X-Men into the franchise with Ms. Marvel probably being the first mutant as revealed in the finale, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with Professor X, and tons of X-Men references in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

Speaking of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, when Kevin Feige was asked by Deadline about Jennifer Walters asking for the arrival of the X-Men, he said, "That's what Jennifer Walters just asked the robot in the final episode of She-Hulk and I'll give you the same answer he gave, which is -- I don't remember, no answer is what I think he gave."

Kevin Feige remains coy when it will happen but he keeps everyone excited about it, "But Deadpool and Wolverine, y'know, we're getting close."

Ever since Disney gained the rights to the franchise of X-Men following the acquisition of 20th Century Fox, this has been a consistent clamor of the fans -- to have the X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and yet, no X-Men movie or even series has been announced in Phases Four to Six.

Still, with the arrival of Deadpool 3 on November 8, 2024, a lot of fans are hopeful for the timely debut of the X-Men in the MCU. Either way, mutants are already being teased in the current slate as mentioned above.

The opening of the multiverse also paved way for the doors of possibilities to open for the X-Men to arrive into the MCU. The delay may just be factored by the fact that Disney got the rights in 2019, and it's just been three years since then.

Marvel Studios may still need some time to perfectly incorporate the X-Men into their current narrative and, who knows, maybe the X-Men will start a new era in the franchise.
