Ke Huy Quan Reportedly Playing James Bond-Like Role in Loki Season 2

Ever since Everything Everywhere All At Once star Ke Huy Quan returned to grace the screens since his last gig in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies, Marvel Studios big boss Kevin Feige had personally contacted Quan to join the MCU in a mystery role in Loki Season 2!

While Marvel Studios is keeping it lowkey on one of two shows releasing this year, the Oscar-winning actor is reportedly set to play a bigger role than we thought. Previously, reputable scooper @MyTimeToShineHello claimed that Ke Huy Quan is set to play a character called Ouroboros for Loki Season 2, in which he’s the “main tech guy” for the TVA.

There is little to no information on an Ouroboros character, so naturally, a newcomer is coming in with a new character role for the series. In December 2022, insider Daniel Richtman posted that the iconic Indiana Jones star’s role is “Q of the TVA and in charge of all the tech”, in reference to a James Bond-like character (via The Direct).

It is worth noting that in the Marvel comic books, Ouroboros was mentioned in an issue of She-Hulk, where his name is “Mister Ouroboros”, who is another Mobius variant. As the name suggests, Ke Huy Quan’s character is speculated to be a villainous role, potentially turning against Loki and Mobius if they ever work together.

Again, nothing has been set to stone yet, at least until Marvel Studios officially declares it, but seeing as the role has also been referenced to be similar to Q, aka the head of the fictional Q Branch at the British Secret Service handling tech and gadgets for various agents in the franchise, if Ke Huy Quan does indeed turn out to be the next villain in Loki Season 2, Loki and Mobius would have to watch their backs on this one.

While He Who Remains has already been killed off in the previous season, there’s a chance that other variants of Kang the Conqueror are set to return to take over the TVA.

Meanwhile, Loki Season 2 is currently slated to be released on Disney+ sometime this summer.
