Pippa Middleton and James Matthews have remained mum about their child. The couple hasn't even confirmed the arrival of their baby.
However, sources told People that the Duchess of Cambridge's youngest niece is name Rose. The name was reportedly derived from the Latin "rosa," which refers to flower. Rose also ranked 61st in the baby girl names of 2020 in England.
The name is also linked to Meghan Markle. According to the Duchess of Sussex in her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig, she has several nicknames, writing "Meg, MM, M&M, and Flower (which my mom has called me since I was little)." Apparently, Markle's mom, Doria Ragland, used to call her "Flower."
The name "Rose" has some connection to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's daughter, Lilibet, too. Prince Harry and Markle's daughter has a flower-inspired name, just like Pippa's youngest.
The royal couple chose "Lilibet" as a nod to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. Her Majesty's father and late husband used "Lilibet" to refer to the 96-year-old British monarch.

Pippa may have chosen the name "Rose" because it's June's birth month flower. Earlier this month, a source confirmed that Pippa gave birth to her third child, a baby girl, "a few weeks ago," suggesting that she may have given birth in June.
As for Pippa and Kate Middleton's relationship, the pair has maintained their tight bond. In fact, Kate named her daughter Charlotte Elizabeth Diana as a nod to her sister, whose middle name is "Charlotte." The Cambridges also paid tribute to Prince William's grandmother and late mother, Princess Diana, by adding their names.
Pippa returned the favor by naming her eldest daughter Grace Elizabeth Jane. Elizabeth is Kate's middle name.
Pippa shared about her close bond with her older sister in an interview with Today in 2014. It was her first TV interview, and she said that nothing changed between her and Kate even after the latter joined the firm.
"We have a very normal, sisterly relationship. We're very close. And, you know, we support each other and get each other's opinions and things," she said.
