Woman’s Day New Zealand, in its June 6, 2022 issue, reported that Kate Middleton wants nothing but for Prince William and Prince Harry to mend their strained relationship.
An unnamed source claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge knew that the U.K. comeback of her brother-in-law is a very good chance for her to help heal the royal brothers’ rift and get her old partner in crime back.
The royal insider told the entertainment news outlet:
“Kate misses Harry terribly. He was always such fun when he was living with them at Kensington Palace. He was a regular at their dinner table for pizza nights and Sunday lunch, and was forever leaving her in stitches of laughter. She finds that’s what she’s missed the most ever since the boys fell out.”

Prince Harry, for his part, has long labeled Kate Middleton as the sister he never had. “Kate wrote and sent gifts for Archie and again for little Lilibet when she was born. Harry always appreciated that. “There’s no way Kate would miss meeting Harry’s baby girl. I’m sure there were a few nerves ahead of Kate catching up with the Sussexes, especially since Meghan’s comments in the press about the royals left Kate fairly churned up, but there’s nothing she loves more than a baby, so she would have set everything aside for Lili and Harry.”

Meanwhile, Sky News reported that Kate Middleton and Prince William did not attend a birthday bash that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry organized for Lilibet. The Sussex couple reportedly invited the Cambridge family to grace the event, but they allegedly did not accept their invite.
The publication claimed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wanted Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to join the festivities at Frogmore Cottage on Saturday. However, the Cambridges spent the day in Wales as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Instead, the children of Zara and Mike Tindall, Lena and Lucas, and daughters of Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly, Savannah and Isla, graced Lilibeth’s birthday party.

A royal insider told Page Six:
"Things are still fraught - William is still wary of spending any time alone with Harry as you never quite know what may be reported back afterwards."
However, an unidentified informant told Entertainment Tonight that Kate Middleton and Prince William did not purposely miss the Lilibet’s party. It added that it was simply a “coincidence” that two major events fell on the same day.
The insider stated:
"It's simply a coincidence they fell on the same day. There was no intended slight."
