Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle made headlines last week amid claims that the latter invited the former to appear on her podcast Archetypes. One publication claimed that the Duchess of Sussex wants to interview Middleton for an entire episode.
Kate Middleton Won’t Appear On Meghan Markle’s Podcast?
However, royal expert Richard Palmer recently said that he doesn’t think Kate Middleton will appear on Meghan Markle’s podcast anytime soon. After all, the relationship between the two is still pretty strained.
“I don’t think so. I don’t get the impression that there is much of a relationship there between them at the moment. Maybe that will change but I think the signs are the relationship’s still pretty strained,” Palmer said (via Cheat Sheet).

Prince William, Kate Middleton Did Not Agree With Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Decision To Quit?
According to Palmer, Prince William and Middleton sympathized with Markle and Prince Harry after the Sussexes expressed some concerns while working as senior royals. However, the Prince and Princess of Wales do not support the couple’s decision to just quit their duties.
“I think William and Kate and other members of the royal family had quite a lot of sympathy with Harry and Meghan with some of their frustrations when they were working members of the royal family. I don’t think that it was a case that they were completely uncaring about their concerns at all — far from it,” he said.
“It was just they didn’t agree with their approach, which was to essentially quit Britain, break the deal between the British people and members of the royal family, in terms of what information shared about things like godchildren at a christening, and of course to sort of declare open war on the British media,” he added.
Royal Expert Claims Kate Middleton Could Appear On Meghan Markle’s Podcast
However, royal expert Neil Sean claimed last week that Middleton could be the guest that Markle needs on Archetypes.
“There could have been one guest, of course, that could have made Meghan’s podcast literally become the top of the podcasting charts around the world. While [Meghan] was over here, staying in Windsor out at their cottage, Frogmore, she put out a request to the Princess of Wales… would Catherine be interested, according to that good source, to appear on a forthcoming episode of [her] podcast. Apparently, she could even have the whole episode herself, how generous — and, as ever, we have to say allegedly,” he said.
Sean also said that Markle and Middleton could discuss a slew of topics, including motherhood, work, and their personal life.
