While a new Love is War anime project was announced shortly after season 3 ended, it was not confirmed what exactly it will be. Now though, several reports have surfaced that a Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime movie is in the works.
According to Manga Mogura RE, a Love is War anime movie has been announced in the August 2022 Newtype magazine issue.
Aside from Manga Mogura RE, other anime news Twitter accounts also reported on the movie, including Shonenleaks.
As mentioned in the report, the Love is War movie will adapt the "The First Kiss Never Ends" arc which includes chapters 142 to 151 in the manga. This arc’s events occur directly after the end of season 3.

Given the events in the Kaguya-sama: Love is War season 3 ending, fans have speculated about how the anime series will continue in discussions online. Some have already theorized that Love is War might get an anime movie next.
This is because popular anime series getting movies is an ongoing trend. Not only is this a trend for shonen anime series, but it's also a trend for romance shows like The Quintessential Quintuplets and Bunny Girl Senpai.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 3 aired from April 9 to Jun 25, and it was one of the most popular shows during the Spring 2021 season.
It is also the highest-rated show among fans, with the series even reaching the number 1 spot in the MyAnimeList top anime of all time ranking.
The series is animated by A-1 Pictures and is based on the manga series of the same name by Aka Akasaka. The manga has been serialized on Weekly Young Jump since 2016, but the Love is War manga will end its run soon.
Right now, there’s no official announcement yet regarding the reported Kaguya-sama: Love is War movie.
If it does get confirmed, it will be interesting to see if the series will get more movie adaptations, or if a proper Love is War Season 4 gets released.
