Kyobo Securities unveiled the upcoming K-pop albums, solo debuts, and comebacks coming the fans’ way from the big four music labels HYBE, JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and SM Entertainment. From BTS’s Suga to ITZY and more, this year’s K-pop music scene will surely be vibrant.

The capital market company released the entertainment companies’ quarterly report and expected albums to be released. With the number of comebacks in the first quarter, more will come until the year’s end.

HYBE Artists

AllKpop published the artists who will drop their new albums this year, starting with the K-idols from HYBE.

Newjeans dropped their first single album in January, followed by TXT’s fifth mini-album and LE SSERAFIM’s first Japanese single album.

In February, Seventeen’s unit group BSS unveiled their first single album, while Hwang Min Hyun unleashed his first solo mini-album.

This month, BTS’s Jimin is about to have his first solo album on March 24. fromis_9 will also make a comeback this month.

In addition, Suga is set to drop his first solo album in the second quarter of the year, and fans are about to see ENHYPEN and LE SSERAFIM’s comeback albums.

JYP Entertainment

JYP Entertainment artists, like TWICE, started the year right by making a comeback in January with the release of their digital single, “Moonlight Sunrise.”

After a month, Stray Kids dropped their first Japanese studio album, The Sounds, followed by TWICE again with their 12th mini-album and NMIXX’s third mini-album in March.

Kyobo Securities also predicts that Xtraordinary Heroes, Stray Kids, and ITZY will be active again in the second quarter.

YG Entertainment

Though nothing much is happening to YG Entertainment at the start of the year, the company will make it big with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo’s upcoming solo album, ME, this month.

The new group, Baby Monsters, will also be introduced in the second quarter.

SM Entertainment

SM Entertainment has a lot to offer this year, giving fans a lot of reasons to celebrate. After NCT 127, GOT the Beat, and Super Junior’s Yesung dropped their projects, from repackaged album to the first mini-album to a studio album and a special album, respectively, in January and February, more is coming from the company.

NCT Dream, TVXQ, and SHINee’s Key dropped their second Japanese mini album, 50th single, and repackaged album last month. SHINee’s One also released his first full-length album on March 6, along with EXO’s Kai’s third mini album on March 13.

aespa is also set to release their first studio album in April, followed by NCT’s unit DoJaeJung’s first mini album, Taeyeon’s fifth mini album, and EXO’s comeback.

Fans will see SHINee’s eighth studio album and NCT Solo’s first mini album in May.

Kyobo Securities also predicts SM Entertainment will debut a new girl group in June.
