Justice League Snyder Cut Mind-Blowing Cameo Revealed

There is little doubt that fans are hyped up about Zack Snyder's Justice League after it was confirmed that there will be "a hero cameo that will blow hard-core fans' minds.". Interestingly, the Snyder Cut mystery character has been revealed and it's not who you think it could be.

In the recent Vanity Fair feature on Zack Snyder's Justice League, it was revealed that the filmmaker "reshot the ending with a hero cameo that will blow hard-core fans' minds." Not surprisingly, the line immediately had people talking about the mystery character and some even believed it could be Ryan Reynolds' Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern.

So will we see Green Lantern in the Snyder Cut? Reynolds already debunked the theory by pointing out that for him, "the suit stays in the closet" (or computer).

But who is the mystery character in Zack Snyder's Justice League? As it turns out, it's someone that we already know is showing up in the Snyder Cut. io9 confirmed that the "hero cameo" is none other than Martian Manhunter, who will be played by Man of Steel star Harry Lennix.

Lennix already confirmed that his character General Swanwick will reveal his true identity in the Snyder Cut. However, it looks like the Vanity Fair piece chose not to spoil Swanwick's revelation to its readers. Nevertheless, io9 reaffirms that the cameo is J'onn J'onzz.

It's pretty disappointing to know we won't be seeing any Green Lanterns in the Snyder Cut but viewers can rest assured that Martian Manhunter's reveal will be truly unexpected. We can tell you but that would spoil the surprise cameo.

Zack Snyder's Justice League will premiere on HBO Max and on various streaming services on March 18.
