Jurassic World: Dominion Trailer Shows the Much-Awaited Reunion of the Original Trio

One of the most-anticipated films this year is Jurassic World: Dominion which will be the third installment of the Jurassic World trilogy and will feature two generations of the franchise as it will also have the much-awaited comeback of the original Jurassic Park trio sharing the screen together for the first time since the very first film. Fans have been patiently waiting for the film which has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But today, we finally have our first full look.

Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion. Set four years after the events of Fallen Kingdom, dinosaurs are now living alongside humans all over the world. The fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures. The trailer featured a narration at the beginning of an iconic line said by John Hammond from Jurassic Park as they showed a montage of different dinosaurs roaming free around the world which is the full realization of his vision when he decided to create genetically-engineered dinosaurs. Then, they showed the main Jurassic World characters interacting with the different dinosaurs in different places around the world and the obstacles of co-existing with them as they run around the streets and jump over rooftops as they're being chased.

Of course, the main highlight of the trailer is the return of the original characters where we saw the reunion between Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) who is seemingly giving a lecture, a distraught Dr. Henry Wu (BD Wong), and, in the end, they showed a shot of the characters from both generations together as they're looking at a moving T-rex dinosaur.

It is wonderful to see the original trio together again and it certainly gave us the nostalgic feels. There's no doubt that seeing them in one frame gave us a big smile as it is the moment that we've been waiting to see ever since they announced their return. The film also looks like it's going to be action-packed as usual and more globe-throttling as it looks like the characters will be in different places all over the world.

However, they didn't give us a hint regarding the exact problem that the characters are going to face besides being co-habitants with the dinosaurs. Perhaps the following trailers will give us an idea more about the plot. Nevertheless, the trailer looks awesome and the visual effects on the dinosaurs also look more stunning than ever. Luckily, we're only a few months before we finally get to see it on the big screen.
