Jung Hae In Recognizes Growing Chemistry With BLACKPINK Jisoo

Jung Hae In never had the chemistry with his co-stars like his current one with BLACKPINK Jisoo.

As one of the most sought-after actors in South Korea, Jung Hae In already has a number of series and movies under his belt. He initially appeared in AOA Black’s Moya music video before officially joining the TV and film industry with Bride of the Century.

With his years of experience, the actor surely worked with several actresses already and developed a professional connection with them. However, fans noticed that Jung Hae In blooms differently whenever he is pictured with BLACKPINK Jisoo, and he recently acknowledged that.

Jung Hae In Applauds Chemistry With Jisoo

JTBC hailed Jung Hae In and Jisoo as the lead characters for its upcoming drama, Snowdrop.

The drama, which I set in Seoul in 1987, tells the story of Su Ho (Jung Hae In) and Young Ro (Jisoo), who meet when he rushes into a women’s university dorm while covered with blood. Jisoo’s character helps and hides him despite the impending danger she might face.

Ahead of the most-awaited series release, Jung Hae In stepped up and shared his thoughts about the project in a new interview. Per the actor, he found the story charming, especially after the director helped him collect his thoughts.

“I was able to work with him because of the director’s conviction in this project and the trust he had in the Su Ho I would portray,” he said.

As for his character, Jung Hae In thinks Su Ho is a person whose beliefs are related to his family and important people. He reportedly focused on expressing the character’s beliefs and showing off his strong leadership. Because of the character’s nature, he became more familiar with using a gun that he also carried around a prop firearm while waiting on the set.

On top of that, Jung Hae In worked hard this time to be fit for his character. Aside from having a strict diet, he also exercised in the waiting room.

Finally, the actor shed some light on his chemistry with Jisoo, calling the K-pop idol’s portrayal absorbing and understanding.

“Our chemistry while acting together is also great. She’s friendly to everyone, and she’s an actress whose strength is being considerate of others,” he went on.

Why Jung Hae In Agreed To Be Part Of Snowdrop

Aside from having great chemistry, Jung Hae In also decided to be part of the series because of its storyline. He noted that the diverse genres in one project pushed him to accept the role.

“I hope [viewers] keep good watch on the situation in which Su Ho falls into danger when he gets pushed into a corner as the story progresses and as he meets a woman named Eun Young Ro, feels the emotion of love, and clumsily tries to express it,” he went on.

The actor has been part of series and movies of different genres, like One Spring Night, Prison Playbook, Blood, Tune In For Love, Heung-Boo: The Revolutionist, and The Age of Blood.

Jung Hae In and Jisoo’s Snowdrop will premiere on December 18.
