Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Confirmed for 2 Cours Adapting Major Story Arcs

We just got an awesome update on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. It has just been confirmed that the anime's second season is set for two cours next year. In addition to that, it was revealed that the series will finally adapt two of the most important (and heartbreaking) story arcs of Gege Akutami's manga!

The cast of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 took part in TOHO Animation's 10th Anniversary event. During the event, Junya Enoki, Yuma Uchida, and Asami Seto spoke about the second season. It was then confirmed that the anime will be split into two cours. In addition to that, the new key visual was unveiled, putting the focus on Satoru Gojo and the first-year students Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki. Check it out below.

The new key visual is a tease for the Shibuya Incident story arc where Satoru Gojo plays an important role. Interestingly, the new illustration goes perfectly with the previous key visual that teases Gojo's Past story arc and fans are loving how both illustrations suggest exactly what will be happening in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.

There is little doubt that fans are already looking forward to meeting Satoru Gojo as a student of Tokyo Jujutsu High. However, people are also dreading the Shibuya Incident arc which could mean trouble for the sorcerer. With that in mind, we can't wait to get more updates on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 in the upcoming weeks.

For now, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Likewise, a trailer for the second season has not yet been released. Nevertheless, fans are already looking forward to the anime's return sometime in 2023. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
