Meme aside, the new screenshots reveal that the next episode will be a bit more lighthearted in nature. But that doesn’t mean the next episodes will be a light and fun affair. After all, the next arc is the show’s biggest one so far.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Is Finally Returning With the Shibuya Incident Arc
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 made a huge splash this season thanks to the impressively animated Hidden Inventory Arc.
Sadly, the show entered a three-week-long hiatus following this arc to give the staff time for the next arc.
Finally, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will return tomorrow with Episode 6, and it will be the first episode in the Shibuya Incident Arc.
Without getting into manga spoilers, the Shibuya Incident is the biggest arc in the series in terms of fights, as well as its effect on the story moving forward.
To further hype it up, a new trailer for the arc was shared a few days ago, and it previews the biggest players of the Shibuya Incident.
The new trailer also previewed the new opening song Specialz by King Gnu, the band that performed the themes for the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie.
The trailer does its job of hyping up the show’s return, but Jujutsu Kaisen hasn’t stopped there as a preview for the sixth episode was shared on the official website.

These new screenshots feature the show’s main trio of Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara – perfect as fans have dearly missed them. However, there is also an image of Aoi Todo along with a new character.
Perhaps the highlight of the preview is Nobara and Megumi holding up ’10’, which should be a familiar sight for fans.
After all, this panel in the manga has become a go-to reaction meme in the anime community.
This was also spotted by many fans on X (formerly Twitter) as they loved that the new episode would finally bring the meme to life.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 will air tomorrow, August 31. The episode will be streamed on Crunchyroll in the US and other selected regions shortly after its Japanese TV broadcast.
