Here's What Happened Before Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 217
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 216 sees Kenjaku and Uraume -- who have escaped to safety -- further discuss their evil plans.
Kenjaku declares that he must first finish the Culling Game if he's to merge Tengen with humanity.
Those wondering if Megumi is dead learn that his soul is still there, although Kenjaku and Uraume are working to kill him for good.
By soaking Megumi's body in a solution full of cursed energy, Kenjaku and Uraume hope to submerge Megumi's soul for good.
But this isn't even the plan in its entirety, as Sukuna also plans to crush Megumi's soul.
To do so, the King of Curses prepares to fight the cursed spirit, Yorozu, which is currently using Megumi's sister, Tsumiki, as his vessel.
While he doesn't care much about Yorozu, Sukuna believes that destroying his vessel, Tsumiki, will be the final blow that will expel Megumi's soul and leave him in sole possession of his body.
This is a terrifying prospect, and we don't know if Megumi can survive it if it does happen.
In line with that, the next chapter can't come out soon enough!

Here's What We Predict Will Happen in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 217
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 216 confirms that Megumi's soul is still in there somewhere, but Sukuna, Uraume, and Kenjaku have plans to kill him as soon as possible.
By fighting and defeating Tsumiki, Sukuna thinks that they will be able to destroy Megumi's spirit for good.
To achieve this, he enters the Culling Game grounds and challenges the cursed spirit Yorozu, who uses Tsumiki as a vessel.
Chapter 217 will most likely detail the fight between the two, and we expect it to be a particularly tragic fight.
The bodies of two siblings will be forced to fight each other, and given that both are now vessels for villainous spirits, you can't root for anyone.
If Tsumiki's body is destroyed, this will likely also destroy Megumi for good, but what if Yorozu defeats Sukuna?
Even if that were the case, we aren't sure if Megumi would survive, making it very hard to predict anything now!
