Jujutsu Kaisen just went from zero to 100, and fans are in a daze. Now, fans are fearing for Megumi based on the latest Jujutsu Kaisen manga chapter, which showed a major game-changer.
Over the past year, many fans have been enjoying the Culling Game arc for its impressive fights.
While some have been wondering about what this massive arc leads into, it seems that we now have the answer.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s Biggest Chapter Since the Shibuya Incident
It’s fair to say that Gojo being sealed in the Prison Realm is the biggest event of the manga, but Chapter 212 may have just matched this as it showed Sukuna in action, to the dismay of Megumi fans everywhere.
The chapter started with a reveal that Megumi’s sister, Tsumiki, is possessed by an ancient sorcerer.
With 100 points in hand, the fake Tsumiki adds a new rule to the Culling Game, allowing travel between colonies.
She then escapes, with Yuji and Kurusu giving chase. But Sukuna takes over Yuji because of their Binding Vow that allows him to control his body for one minute.
Megumi notices this and quickly tries to summon the Mahoraga as he did back in the Shibuya Incident.
But Sukuna notices this and quickly incapacitates him. Sukuna then removes one of Yuji’s now-cursed fingers and feeds it to Megumi.
Yuji’s personality resurfaces, but now, it seems that Sukuna has taken over Megumi’s body. Because of this, Megumi’s fate is now in question.

Jujutsu Kaisen Fans Fear That Megumi Is Dead
The series’ heroes have been achieving their objectives quite handily in the Culling Game. But now, everything is about to unravel with Sukuna now in control of Megumi. This has also sparked fears that Megumi is dead.
Given that Megumi is the series’ most popular character (he topped the second popularity poll after all), fans are in disbelief about what happened.
Many are also fearing that a fight between him and Gojo is inevitable, adding an extra layer of tragedy.
In a previous chapter, Gojo mentioned that the previous Limitless/Six Eyes user fought against the Ten Shadows user.
Many believe that this is foreshadowing a tragic fight between the two. These events also point toward Sukuna’s goal of defeating Gojo.
While Gojo should still have the upper hand against Sukuna while inhabiting Yuji, his getting control of the Mahoraga should be enough to face Gojo properly.
Whatever the case may be, it seems that Jujutsu Kaisen is setting up an epic climax that heavily involves Megumi.
This is in line with author Gege Akutami’s wish of ending the series sometime soon.
