Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 172 Recap
The narration states that an average human would lose consciousness once subjected to five to six units of g-force. With the weight he's carrying right now, Megumi is handling 40 units of g-force. He changed his posture and used cursed energy to protect himself. Since the Domain improves Megumi's cursed technique's precision, Reggie is carrying the realistic weight of the Max Elephant shikigami, therefore fracturing some of his bones.
Reggie begins thinking about the possible options he could use to get out. He was about to do another Contractual Re-Creation, but he got crushed by the Max Elephant. He begins falling into the shadow while losing consciousness at the same time. However, he uses one of the trucks to bring himself back to the surface. He mentions that the objects he re-creates only disappear once it completes his command, which is why he got to return to the surface.
Reggie acknowledges Megumi's strength but says he's still stronger. He unleashes a two-floor building, but Megumi quickly escapes into the shadow and dispels his Domain. Reggie ends up breaking the floor and falling into the pool, where Megumi chokes him. Now, it's a physical fight between the two.
However, Reggie is convinced that Megumi will unleash a shikigami either way. They exchange blows, and the Divine Dog suddenly shows up and bites Reggie. He then falls to the ground, defeated.
