In the latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, it's Yūji Itadori vs. Hiromi Higuruma! Aside from being known as a genius in his field, it turns out that Higuruma is a competent sorcerer. Itadori is having a hard time figuring out what to do since he can't control his cursed energy. Will Itadori succeed in the objective of getting 100 points?
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 165 Recap
The chapter reveals how Higuruma is known as a genius by his peers, considering his background in law. However, what's more admirable about him is his abilities as a sorcerer. Higuruma continues to attack Itadori relentlessly. It has only been 12 days since the awakening of his cursed technique, but Higuruma's level can already be at par with a Grade 1 sorcerer.
Itadori still can't use his cursed energy due to the Judgeman's Confiscation. Higuruma explains that usually, it just makes it impossible for the sorcerer to use their cursed techniques. He thinks that Itadori doesn't have a cursed technique, which is why Confiscation took his cursed energy instead. Higuruma also notices that Itadori must be physically strong, considering how he can still fight without cursed energy.
However, Itadori is having a hard time holding up. He begins thinking about what Higuruma's weakness could be. He ends up telling him that he wants a retrial. Judgeman ends up accusing Itadori of the mass murders in Shibuya. Itadori admits to doing it, and the Judgeman lands him with a guilty verdict, along with a death penalty.
