Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie Releases New Poster

A new poster for the upcoming Jujutsu Kasien 0 movie has been released. Season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen anime adaptation did so well with a lot of fans that it achieved great sales for the anime. It also inspired a lot of fans to check out Gege Akutami’s original manga, which in turn, boosted the sales of the manga. That is why it is no longer a surprise that the anime will be having an official continuation after the first season ended. The surprise, however, is the anime will be having a continuation with its very first movie instead.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be adapting the author’s official prequel series that was written before the main series was released. This limited prequel follows Yuta Okkotsu (who has been mentioned a few times throughout the first season of the anime) as he was forced to enroll in Jujutsu Tech when the curse energy attached to him ends up causing a huge disaster to others as one of the most deadly Cursed Spirits. To celebrate the upcoming release of the movie in Japan, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 released a new poster. Check it out below:

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be premiering in theaters in Japan on the 24th of December. Unfortunately, the international release plans of the movie is yet to be revealed as of the time of writing. The returning cast of characters will include Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, Satoru Gojo, and more, but they will look younger as the movie takes place a year before the events of the main series. There will also be two new casts with Megumi Ogata as Yuta Okkotsu, and Kana Hanazawa as Rika Orimoto. With the release of a new poster, fans can expect to see a lot more of the film soon.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be released on December 24, 2021, in theaters in Japan.
