The highly-anticipated drama of Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi suffered a glitch after its filming team faced a dreaded bus accident that left one of the staff dead. Meanwhile, three others were gravely injured.
It officially resumed the production while offering therapy sessions to prevent symptoms of post-traumatic stress, especially for those who were riding the bus during the crash.
After months of waiting, its cast members pledged to offer more of themselves while paying tribute to the late staff member.

Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong Cast Members Ready To Tell the K-drama’s Story
Josepn Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong is a 2022 tvN K-drama featuring Kim Min Jae, Kim Hwang Gi, and Kim Sang Kyung. The historical-medical drama, which is based on a novel of the same name, tells the story of a physician for the royal family who eventually gets involved in a conspiracy about the monarchy.
The event leads to his departure to work in Gyesu Village, where he starts training to become a doctor who treats patients’ physical and mental issues.

The K-drama recently released a making clip which was recorded during its first script reading.
The cast members also include Ahn Chang Hwan, Yoo Sung Joo, Lee Seo Hwan, Jung won Chang, Yeon Bora, Jeon Guk Hwang, Kim Su An, and Han Chang Min.
Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi, and Kim Sang Kyung Share Details About Characters
In the making clip, the three main stars could not hide their nervousness while introducing their characters.
Kim Min Jae plays the role of a genius acupuncturist named Yoo Se Poong. The handsome and talented man earns a job at the royal palace but faces an incident that costs him his ability as an acupuncturist.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyang Gi plays the role of widow Seo Eun Woo. She deduces the stories of sick people in the drama.
“Amid the reality of having nowhere to go, the character of Eun Woo meets the people at Gyesu Hospital and captures the image of healing oneself, creating a stronger sense of self, and growing,” the actress said.
Kim Sang Kyung scored the role of a great doctor and Yoo Se Poong’s teacher. Per the actor, he feels like a tsundere in the drama. The Japanese term describes a cold-hearted person who eventually changes because of the environment.
The actor also hinted at his character’s secret.
The central cast members then said that the drama, instead of serving serious topics to the viewers, would show fun and exciting scenes.
Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong will release its first episode on August 1 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
