Jon Bernthal has seemingly teased his upcoming return as The Punisher in a recent social media post.
Last year, it was reported that the Emmy-nominated actor is set to reprise the role in the upcoming MCU series Daredevil: Born Again, which has resumed filming since its creative reboot.
So far, Marvel Studios remains mum on whether the fan-favorite character will indeed return and cross paths with Matt Murdock again.

Jon Bernthal Hints Upcoming Return as The Punisher
In his recent post on Instagram, Bernthal shared a photo of a book cover that contains The Punisher's iconic phrase "One batch, two batch, penny, and dime" with no accompanying caption.
It prompted a lot of speculations from fans that the actor might be teasing his return as the fan-favorite character.
In case you forgot, the book was a favorite of Frank Castle's daughter and she always asked him to read it for her every night.
Before she was murdered, she was asking Frank to read the book to her again. However, he refused as he was too tired. Little did he know, he wouldn't have an opportunity to read the book to her again.
While some may argue that Bernthal may have posted the photo as a throwback, the majority of the fans believe that he was teasing his return as the character.
Since the creative reboot of Daredevil: Born Again, reports have claimed that Bernthal will remain to be part of the series. It is unknown how many episodes he might be making an appearance.
A lot of fans would definitely be happy once Bernthal shows up in the series and it is interesting what will be their take on The Punisher now that it is being handled by Marvel Studios.
Daredevil: Born Again is slated to release on Disney+ in 2025.
