Alongside the new Chainsaw Man trailer, the Chainsaw Man voice cast has also been announced during the recent MAPPA stage event. There, it was revealed that a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure star has joined the Chainsaw Man anime voice cast.

Unlike the first teaser which had no dialogue, the new trailer lets fans hear the voice cast in action as their respective characters.

Check out the new trailer here:

The JoJo star is none other than Ai Fairouz, the voice of Jolyne Cujoh in Stone Ocean. Fairouz is cast as Power in the upcoming anime.

Fairouz is an up-and-coming voice actor who started her career back in 2019. Among her first major roles is Hibiki Sakura from How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?

Her next big role is Jolyne Cujoh in the latest season of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Her other roles include Valkyre from Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious and Intrepid in the Azur Lane mobile game.

Joining Fairouz is a cast of other up-and-coming voice actors, including Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa, and Tomori Kusunoki as Power.

While fans have speculated about big-name stars being cast as Chainsaw Man characters, it seems that MAPPA went with newer voice actors for this new anime.

For instance, Toya is a rookie voice actor who hasn’t appeared in many shows. Meanwhile, Sakata is another new voice actor who has played supporting roles in some shows, including Attack on Titan and Ya Boy Kongming.

Kusunoki is probably the most experienced among the cast as she has played roles such as Karen Kohiruimaki in Gun Gale Online and Setsuna Yuki in Love Live!

Right now, there’s no specific release yet on when the Chainsaw Man anime will release, though it is confirmed to premiere on TV Tokyo in October 2022.
