Joe Manganiello Campaigns for Deathstroke Series After Zack Snyder's Justice League Success

Fans finally got to see more of Deathstroke in Zack Snyder's Justice League and it looks like Joe Manganiello is pushing for his character to get even more screentime. The former True Blood star has started campaigning for a Deathstroke standalone series on HBO Max and people are supporting it.

Slade Wilson only appeared in the post-credits scene in the Justice League theatrical cut. However, Deathstroke actually had another appearance in the Snyder Cut, joining Batman and the other Justice League members in the Knightmare sequence.

Needless to say, people are wondering what happened between the scene where Slade wants Batman dead to the sequence where he is working with the Dark Knight. The interesting part is, Manganiello is eager to explore more of Deathstroke's story. Manganiello posted a photo of his character along with a hopeful hashtag. Check it out below.

But is it possible that Manganiello is teasing on a project that is already in development? Fans are certainly hoping that we'll be seeing more of Deathstroke in the near future. However, it is unclear whether HBO Max has any plans of pursuing new projects right now. Nevertheless, we're hoping that Slade will get an awesome live-action film or series soon.

Manganiello recently made it clear that he is supporting Snyderverse. He is also pushing for more movies following the success of Zack Snyder's Justice League. A possible Deathstroke series would be an easy way to continue with Snyderverse.

Zack Snyder's Justice League and its black-and-white version Justice is Gray are still available on HBO Max.
