MCU star Jeremy Renner says he 'would rather go to jail' than be without his Avengers co-stars.

Considering that his co-workers in the MCU have been keeping up-to-date with him through his snowplowing accident and speedy recovery, Renner declares that their friendship is 'a real thing.'

Jeremy Renner's Friendship with MCU Co-Stars is 'Not Just For Instagram'

The Avengers team has long been supportive of each other, including the time of Jeremy Renner's near-death snow plow accident.

Even though he was still on life support and could only see out of his right eye, at the time, Falcon actor Anthony Mackie went out of his way to visit him at the hospital.

Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. would FaceTime with Renner constantly while he was in recovery, and the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, and Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly visited him at home after the hospitalization.

Many of his co-stars reached out to him on his social media to pray for his speedy recovery.

"Oh, fuck yeah, it's a real thing — it's not just for Instagram. We f*ckin' hate that sh*t," Renner recently said, adding how he and his MCU co-stars have kept in touch in their family group chat, "Look, we all went through a culturally significant experience together. And there's divorces and marriages and babies; a lot of stuff happened in these 12 years."

The Mayor of Kingstown star added that working on the MCU made them feel as though they were attending 'a costume party' with ridiculous props' 'doing ridiculous things.'

Still, there's real love behind the cameras, "But it's also beautiful because we're all connected."

To think that they have spent over a decade working together and managed to keep in touch past their MCU phase means a lot to the Hawkeye star.

"There's a brotherhood or sisterhood or whatever the heck you want to call it," Renner added, "I just call it love. I love every one of them. I'd rather go to jail with Downey than go do something amazing by myself. I'd rather get in a car crash with [Chris] Evans."
