Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck couldn’t be more in love with each other. In fact, despite their busy schedules, the A-listers are, reportedly, determined to make their relationship work.
Even though it’s only been six months since the couple got back together, their fans are convinced that they will soon get engaged. However, it is important to note that Lopez and Affleck have not expressed any desire to seal the deal soon so everything that’s being written about their alleged wedding should be taken with a grain of salt.
Jennifer Lopez Wants To Marry Ben Affleck Before The Holidays
Life & Style, in its Nov. 29 issue, claimed that Lopez is keen on tying the knot with Affleck. And she wants them to exchange their vows on or before Christmas Day.
Lopez doesn’t also want Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner to tie the knot with Miller before her and Affleck because she doesn’t want the Alias actress to steal her thunder.
“Even though they only got back together six months ago, Jennifer has waited 19 years to marry Ben, and the last thing she wants is the long engagement she had with Alex Rodriguez because look how that turned out,” an unnamed source claimed.
Jennifer Lopez Competitive Towards Jennifer Garner
Lopez is, allegedly, aware that Garner is already engaged to Miller that’s why she’s fast-tracking her engagement to Affleck. The Marry Me actress has, allegedly, told Affleck that they need to tie the knot right now.
“She wants all the attention to be on her and Ben – that’s been pretty obvious from all of their public displays of affection since they reunited – and the wedding will be no different,” the unnamed source said.
Lopez also wants to make sure that her wedding with Affleck will be the biggest ceremony in Hollywood this year. So, even if she has a wonderful relationship with Garner, her competitive side still comes out.
As for Affleck, the Batman v Superman actor wants nothing more than for Lopez to be happy. So, if she’s ready to tie the knot with him then so is he.
“There’s nothing really standing in their way, so it’s likely he’ll cave to the pressure and propose even if it feels that getting married over the holidays may be a bit too soon. The last thing he wants is to upset J.Lo. Ben’s fallen hard all over again and doesn’t want to risk losing her a second time,” the unnamed source concluded.
Did Jennifer Lopez Give Ben Affleck An Ultimatum?
Last week, OK! magazine published a similar story about Lopez and Affleck. The publication claimed that the former is pressuring the latter to propose to her.
Lopez also, allegedly, gave Affleck an ultimatum that if he still doesn’t propose, she would leave him.

Jennifer Lopez Still Open For Marriage
During a recent interview on Today to promote her upcoming movie, Marry Me, Lopez was asked if she’s open to tying the knot again someday.
“I don’t know. Yeah, I guess. You know me, I’m a romantic, I always have been… I still believe in happily ever after, for sure, 100 percent,” Lopez said.
Since Lopez is dating Affleck, Us Weekly immediately suggested that the actress’s response means that she’s open to marrying her boyfriend one day. However, this isn’t exactly what the mom of twins said.
While there’s indeed a possibility for Lopez and Affleck to tie the knot, for now, the couple is not rushing into anything. And there’s also no competition between Lopez and Garner because the latter is still not engaged to Miller.
