Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Lacked A Passionate Relationship?
When the Marry Me star and Argo actor were at the Grammys Sunday, Affleck's miserable look didn't go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans. Some speculated that something was wrong.
The celebrity couple was caught on camera having what many felt was a tense conversation, and it turned awkward because it was caught on camera because they were seated in the front row.
In the clip, Jennifer Garner's ex-husband whispered something in Lopez's ear, and she seemed to not like it because she tapped his cheat and turned around with a fierce look. However, that quickly changed when she noticed a camera nearby because host Trevor Noah was standing near them.
Body language expert Judi James noted that Lopez's response after Affleck after he whispered something in her ear was not the typical response in couples with a passionate relationship.
"The normal A-list routine is for the guy to whisper what looks like sexy sweet nothings into his partner's ear at red carpet events while the woman smiles or giggles to signal a passionate relationship," James told Page Six.
"Jennifer’s response to Ben’s whisper looks much more firm and knee-jerk, though. Her head whipped around to suggest what he had said shocked her. One of her hands grabbed her own knee while the other clutched Ben’s leg in what looked like a control gesture."
The expert also noticed how Lopez seemingly tapped her husband's chest with the back of her hand. According to James, it "looks like a reproachful checking gesture rather than a passionate one."
She added that the celebrity couple seemed irked because there was a lack of glances, grinds or nods after the incident. They also didn't double up in shared joke laughter.

There were various rumors about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage after the Grammys. Some even speculated that they would eventually divorce.
However, sources claimed that it wasn't the case.
An anonymous source told Entertainment Tonight that the Argo star was tired and not his usual self at that time. That was reportedly the reason he looked miserable.
"Jen knows Ben is a great husband...but also gets that ben is more of a homebody and it isn't his thing to be out at events all the time," the source said.

Insiders also told Page Six that he was actually happy and not bored. He was even seen laughing backstage, but the "camera got him bad."
Lopez seemingly shut down the various rumors about their marriage. She shared a clip on Instagram with their highlights from the event.
"Always the best time with my love, my husband," she wrote in the caption.
