Jamie Foxx Had One Condition in Spider-Man: No Way Home Return

What makes Spider-Man: No Way Home more exciting is that the villains of the previous movies are coming back and their respective actors will be reprising their roles as the big baddies of the film. One of those iconic portrayals is that of Jamie Foxx who played Electro in the version of Andrew Garfield but before his return, he has been promised one condition.

In Amazing Spider-Man 2 where Andrew Garfield donned the suit of the friendly neighborhood titular character, one of his villains is Electro, played by Jamie Foxx and he was all electrifying in blue and his ominous character perfectly matches his deep voice and persona. He wore prosthetics that time to pull off his blue skin and gray jumpsuit.

While he looks terrifying in that movie, for his return in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Amy Pascal of Sony Pictures promised him that he would not be blue in this portrayal. Such a condition was made to secure his reprisal of the role. This was shared in an interview with ComicBook.com and Amy Pascal said that he would be having a more minimalistic appearance and he would not be blue this time.

This time, Foxx will be wearing something closer than that of his costume in the comics which is a vivid green and yellow suit, now, he would be wearing something like an armor, looking like Iron Man but less of the metals on his face and limbs. This minimalistic new look paves way for the electricity coming out of his body as the main event of the character.

Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man and he would be joined by Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. Also in the cast are Zendaya as MJ, Benedict Wong as Wong, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, and Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson.
