The 2020 hit Kdrama Itaewon Class is getting a Japanese remake.
After shaking South Korea with the "Park Saeroyi syndrome" two years ago, and even captivating global viewers as it was consecutively streamed through Netflix, Itaewon Class will now take over Japan.

JTBC Confirms Itaewon Class Japanese Remake
JTBC recently confirmed that the broadcasting company would work with Kakao Entertainment, Kross Pictures, and a major Japanese broadcasting station to bring the Japanese remake of Itaewon Class to the land of the rising sun.
With JTBC teaming up with these giant production companies, it is expected that the Japanese remake of the popular series will be as great as the original.

The Fame Of Itaewon Class
Itaewon Class is a 2020 Kdrama based on the popular webtoon of the same name. The series tells the story of a group of young people who work together to get over the unjust society and combat its unfairness.
Park Seo Joon worked opposite Our Beloved Summer star Kim Da Mi and recorded the highest viewer rating of 18.3%. This excellent rating gave the series the record of being the second-highest-rated drama in JTBC history.
Aside from the interesting storyline and synergy of the cast, Park Seo Joon's character, Saeroyi, also swept off the internet with his unique hairstyle and famous lines.
The great OST also gained huge attention. Itaewon Class even won Best Drama Series at the 25th Asian Television Awards.
