The Kdrama series Island unveiled the first look of its upcoming part 2.
Island became one of the most-watched dramas before 2022 ended. It premiered on Dec. 30 and ran its six episodes until Jan. 13. The series is about Won Mi Ho, the daughter of the Daehan Group's owner who grew up as an arrogant and selfish woman. Her attitude leads her father to banish her to Jeju Island.
She soon encounters evil spirits that roam around the area while working as a high school ethics teacher. In order to survive, she joins a group of individuals.
Following the success of Island part 1, the Kdrama series is preparing to serve more buzzworthy scenes in part 2.

Island Part 2 Drops Official Poster
MBC News shared a copy of the Island part 2 poster ahead of the series' release.
The special poster shows Pan (Kim Nam Gil), Mi Ho (Lee Da Hee), and John (Cha Eun Woo) as they stand together before facing their final journey. The material also shows a symbol behind the main characters, offering no explanation about it.

Goong Tan (Sung Joon) appears in the trio's shadow, looking desperate to kill people, as he holds a weapon the same as what Pan has.
Aside from the symbol's meaning, the poster also piqued viewers' interest as they are yet to find out whether Mi Ho finally regains her memory and strength from her past life.
Island part 2 will be released on Feb. 24 at 12 p.m. KST via TVING. It will also be featured on Amazon Prime Video.
Island Cast Members To Return in Part 2
The original main cast members of Island will return and reprise their respective roles.
The ASTRO member plays the role of Priest John in the series. He is a Catholic priest who performs exorcisms to protect people's lives while eliminating evil spirits.
Meanwhile, Kim Nam Gil is Pan, a protector who acts as a weapon to fight evil and kill people who become possessed. Lee Da Hee, on the other hand, is the K-drama series' Won Min Ho.
Sung Joon is Goong Tan. He previously worked with Pan and used to fight evil spirits. However, an incident makes him do the opposite things he used to do in the past.
