Is Masamune-kun’s Revenge a Harem Anime?
Masamune-kun's Revenge is, indeed, a harem anime. As such, viewers may expect a number of attractive girls to fall for the anime's charming male lead one after the other.
Similar to past harem anime shows, enticing female characters compete with one another in order to make the male protagonist turn and look in their direction.
Masamune Makabe, for example, piques the interest of Aki Adagaki and Neko Fujinomiya.
It is only natural for Aki and Neko to disparage one another at every opportunity to show Makabe which of them is superior.
On that note, tension will be high, and the male protagonist will struggle to choose among his potential partners.
This is demonstrated in a scenario in the anime in which Masamune contemplates his true feelings for Aki after being charmed by Neko.
Masamune thought he was exclusively interested in Aki, but after Neko stole his first kiss, he began to doubt his own feelings and emotions.
This will irritate some viewers because the male protagonist receives all of the attention from the lovely female characters, yet he can't commit to just one.
This is a recurring issue in harem anime shows, but viewers should be able to comprehend the circumstances at this point in time.
Furthermore, the male character has several intimate moments with the female character.
He will have time alone with each of them to discuss their relationship and what comes next.

Who Belongs to Masamune Makabe’s Harem?
Masamune Makabe is a very fortunate man! He gained a new level of privilege through hard work, not because he was born with it.
Back in the day, he was bullied because of his appearance and physique, but he was able to turn his life around.
Now that Makabe is a fit and handsome man, many girls are fighting for his attention. One of which is Tae Futaba, who is also the representative of Makabe’s class.
She had a slight crush on Makabe because of his kind and understanding demeanor, but she has since moved on.
After all, Futaba had a feeling Makabe didn't like her. This is why Futaba chose to ignore her emotions in order to preserve a strong friendship with Makabe.
Neko Fujinomiya's entrance into the anime is a game-changer. She was equally attractive and wealthy as Aki Adagaki, but she was more tenacious in her pursuit of Makabe's affection.
In fact, she posed the most significant threat to Aki and Makabe's relationship.
Neko not only stole Makabe's first kiss, but she also understands the young man's difficult past.
Although Makabe also rejected Neko, the latter remains a prospective love interest if Aki is out of the picture.
Furthermore, Makabe also has Yoshino Koiwai on his side. She is Aki’s servant who eventually fell in love with Makabe’s charms.
They have a master-servant relationship, and the two of them understand each other better than anyone else in the series.
Masamune also meets a gorgeous French girl named Muriel Besson in later chapters of the Masamune-kun's Revenge manga. Of course, she became acquainted with Masamune!
