Tony Stark met an unfortunate fate in Avengers: Endgame when he sacrificed his life to undo the snap. However, it looks like the beloved character is very much alive in Taika Waititi's fake Thor: Love and Thunder script.

During a Thor: Ragnarok watch party via Instagram Live, the director shared a glimpse of the script for his upcoming film. The viewers of the live stream got excited upon seeing Iron Man's name in it, but Waititi is just pretty much having fun with the fans with a fake script.

The script imagines a hilarious scene between Tony Stark and Thor. The God of Thunder asks him how he managed to return even though he saw him die. "Science," Iron Man says. "Also, Thanos is back."

They proceed to assemble yet again and when Tony prepares his new armor, it is covered with the flags of the world. "Everyone who died is coming back," he said. "And this time, we're avenging even more than ever. From now on, we'll be known as… The Avengerers."

It's clear that the script was fake, especially since Iron Man only explained his return as "science" and had a rather unique and fun design of an armor. The Avengerers is also quite silly yet hilarious, but can easily be deduced as a fake script.

As for Robert Downey Jr's return, he has already noted that his time as Iron Man is now over and that if he were to come back, it would have to be "a super compelling argument and a series of events" for his return to make sense.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set for release on February 18, 2022.
