Marvel Reportedly Developing War Machine Series That Includes Ironheart

Marvel may have yet to announce the project, however, there have been rumors that the studio is developing a War Machine series for Disney's streaming service, Disney+.

Now, it looks like new reports say that Ironheart may be part of the series.

According to a new post by Lords of the Long Box, Marvel is going to begin developing its War Machine Disney+ series once the COVID-19 pandemic finally comes to an end. Details about the project include the introduction of Riri Williams, a fifteen-year-old super genius who takes the Iron Man mantle to become Iron Heart.

Interestingly enough, Lords of the Long Box's report says that they've only been provided with information saying that only Riri Williams is to appear in the series, not Ironheart. The site believes that that this detail may suggest that Riri won't be putting on the Ironheart armor until the end of the first season of War Machine or perhaps in a spinoff of her own.

There's been a lot of talk about the appearance of Ironheart as of late. Ever since Iron Man's (Robert Downey Jr.) death in Avengers: Endgame, fans have been wondering who might take Tony Stark's place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While fans have been speculating that Tony's daughter Morgan ( a character that fans are introduced to in Endgame) may very well take up her father's mantle. Others, however, believe that Iron Man's role will pass on to Riri Williams.
