The hit comedy TV series was last seen in 2016. The show's producers were already under contract to create Inside Amy Schumer Season 5, but Schumer herself took a break for her stand-up tour and memoir, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo.

Announcing Inside Amy Schumer Season 5

In a post on Twitter, Schumer officially announced the return of the comedy series.

"I wanted to bring back Inside Amy Schumer to burn any remaining bridges," she wrote in a letter she posted. "So, sit down and open your pants (so you're comfortable, not in a sexual way) because we're not holding anything back."

She even revealed Inside Amy Schumer Season 5 will be out on Paramount+, calling the streaming network "the hottest piece of a**."

"You won't want to miss the show that will finally get me forever cancelled," she continued. "It's what the Queen would have wanted."

Schumer signed the note as Amy, the Duchess of Long Island.
