Injustice 2 Will Have a Wonder Woman Event

Everyone's pretty much preparing for the upcoming release of DC Comics' Wonder Woman film. And this prep time is not just limited to moviegoers—or even movies, for that matter.

For the developers at NetherRealm Studios, it's all about bringing in some gear for the Wonder Woman character in the hit game Injustice 2. According to Videogamer, the livestream held by the developer confirmed that the event will run for an entire week encompassing the premiere date of the movie.

This means that fans can enjoy the in-game tie-in event for Injustice 2 from May 29 to June 5. Fans will get the chance to bring some of Wonder Woman's armor and weapons from the new film. So does that mean we get a shot at having her bracelets, the Lasso of Truth, her sword, shield, and even the God Killer Sword? Will the tie-in event include a shot at getting her training suit as well?

As per the source, the epic gear will be available in the Multiverse event dubbed To End All Wars. In case you're not able to win the gear before the event ends, NetherRealm Studios is still pretty generous, as they will allow random drops.

I'm still on the mobile game myself, and landing some sweet gear will definitely up Wonder Woman's game in my roster. It seems that the event will kick off a little later for the mobile counterpart on May 30, but it will be available for the entire month. We're getting a new character card and an epic gear set. Let the grinding begin!

Wonder Woman will be out in theaters on June 2.
