In the Land of Leadale Episode 3 Recap
In the Land of Leadale follows a girl named Keina, who is on life support after being involved in an accident. Keina finds solace in an RPG game that takes her to the fictional world of Leadale. When a power outage shuts down her life support, killing her, she wakes up in Leadale, in the body of her avatar. Now a half-elf named Cayna, the protagonist is excited to explore her favorite world - at least until she realizes it isn't quite the land she remembered.
Episode 3 focused on Cayna's reunion with her daughter, Mai-Mai, and her son-in-law Lopus Harvey, whom she comes across when she's summoned in the Royal Academy. Cayna goes on a quest to exorcise a ghost from the capitol, unaware that the crown prince is watching her. The ghost turns out to be the guardian of the local Silver Tower.
Cayna finds out that her death on earth is associated with the current devastation of Leadale, as the clientele dropped after the loss of the game master. Cayna is deeply influenced by that and when Skargo, attempts to console, she rebukes his efforts.
