HYBE is growing further to become one of the best companies in the world, outshining K-pop’s Big Three: SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and JYP Entertainment.

K-pop idols know what the three biggest companies in the industry could give them if they would debut under them. Still, some K-pop idols opted to start from scratch and chose other agencies instead.

For BTS’ part, they were once a nugu group that almost disbanded due to several issues. But with the help of their company, Big Hit Entertainment, they were able to conquer the international center stage and expand their business by rebranding it to HYBE.

Following the name change of Big Hit Labels to HYBE Corporation, the company continuously strived harder – and its efforts were recently paid off.

HYBE Is One of TIME’s 100 Most Influential Companies of 2021

On Time’s official Instagram page, it showered HYBE’s founder Bang Si Hyuk and BTS with compliments as they posed to become the cover of the prestigious magazine.

“Despite the setbacks brought on by the pandemic, BTS — and the company behind them — has thrived. That ongoing success is a direct product of the shrewd management agency that backs them, writes Raisa Bruner. Initially founded as Big Hit Entertainment in 2005 by musical mastermind Bang Si-hyuk, the company is listed publicly on the Korean exchange in 2020 as HYBE; it’s valued at $9.5 billion today,” TIME wrote.

He also pledged to make it happen by setting music as their foundation. It was the second time HYBE made it to the list.

HYBE secured the spot in the list alongside the most famous companies in the world, including Apple, Sony Music Group, and Twitter, to name a few.

Bang Si Hyuk Reveals HYBE is Working on Innovations Now

In an article shared by TIME, Bang Si Hyuk revealed that the company was going to pursue an NFT exchange. However, fans reportedly showed concerns, making them think about their plans again.

Their response to fans is part of their desire to provide more value and experience to fans while following the industry’s quick demands. Since doing both can be difficult, they are reportedly taking their time to make everything work out.

For now, HYBE is said to be cooking interesting projects, which they will present soon.
