Honey Lee saw things happen quickly before her eyes last year.
Years after dating Yoon Kye Sang, Honey Lee and the singer announced their split in 2020. Over a year later, Saram Entertainment revealed that she was dating her non-celebrity then-boyfriend, who she married a month later.
In January, the media delivered another piece of news, saying that the actress was four months pregnant with her first child.
Honey Lee’s life bloomed even more because of these events, and she surprisingly did action scenes while pregnant!
Honey Lee Already Pregnant While Filming One the Woman
In an interview with Vogue Korea, the expecting mother opened up about learning about her pregnancy while in the middle of filming her action scenes in One the Woman. Per the actress, she still successfully did tough scenes despite having a child in her tummy already.
“I really wanted to faithfully fulfill my role as an actress and I also thought that through this strong prenatal education in a safe environment, I’d be able to give birth to a ‘wonder woman’ or ‘wonder man.’ Since we overcame all that, won’t I give birth to a really healthy baby?” she said.
Her decision to continue filming resonated with what she wanted to show the public about pregnant women.

According to Honey Lee, she aimed to show how miraculous women’s bodies can be while showing a direction in her acting career that is unusual to be seen.
Instead of maintaining her sexy physique, she wanted to encourage women that pregnant women could wear what they want.
Honey Lee Experiences Growth Amid Pregnancy
Aside from encouraging other people, she also ensures she helps herself by growing throughout pregnancy.
For instance, she ordered a non-toxic baby closet. Despite the safe material, she took out each drawer and cleaned them again. She also re-folded her baby’s clothes one by one.
In addition, she also noticed the changes in her body and fashion. From wearing pants, she usually wears dresses but not like the ones worn by pregnant women.
Honey Lee will give birth next month, and her fans are already excited to see a new life to arrive.
