What is Highdee Kuan's Role in The Brothers Sun?
In The Brothers Sun, Highdee Kuan plays the role of Alexis Kong, who works as an assistant district attorney in Los Angeles. She is described as someone with a strong work ethic and a sense of justice.
While investigating a case, she comes across Charles Sun (played by Justin Chien). They gain a chance to reconnect once again after growing up together in Taiwan.
But unbeknownst to Charles, Alexis has her own motives for reconnecting with him.
Showrunner Brad Falchuk shared with Tudum:
“The thing about Charles and Alexis is that if they were swapped and brought up by each other’s families, Charles would be an incredible cop or DA, and Alexis would be an incredible gangster. These are [the] teams they happen to play for, but they’re both gangsters.”

If Highdee Kuan looks familiar to you, that's because she's gotten quite a stable list of projects since she started acting in 2016.
Some of her famous roles include her role as Luna in You Season 2 Episode 7. She was also in one episode of Quantum Leap as Mallory Yang and This is Us as Sasha.
