Here's Why We'll Wait Longer Than Usual For Game of Thrones Season 7 To Arrive

Winter already arrived in Westeros, so that means the Game of Thrones cast may receive a longer vacation than usual, and we'll have to wait longer than usual for Season 7 to come.

Game of Thrones showunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss told the UFC Unfiltered podcast that production on season 7 will star at a later date than usual

"We're starting a little bit later because, at the end of this season, winter is here, and that means that sunny weather doesn't really serve our purposes any more," Weiss explained. "We kind of pushed everything down the line so we could get some grim, gray weather, even in the sunnier places that we shoot."

Last month, Benioff and Weiss said that they're hoping to end the series in 13 episodes. HBO hasn't commente on their statements about the delay. Game of Thrones normally begins production on its new season in July. I'm sure it's going to be worth the wait. You can check out the 10 things you could expect in Season 7 here.
