Here’s What Buffy The Vampire Slayer Cast Think of Revival

Just recently, the bulk of the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a grand reunion, with only the Watcher Rupert Giles, Anthony Head, missing in action.

And as Entertainment Weekly's feature showed, everyone still looks fresh-faced, a little weathered, and mostly upbeat as a cast. And while the reunion was a grand time for catching up with what happened with which cast member, there's also talk about where a remake or a continuation stands.

Here, each of the main cast had their own thoughts. Our favorite blond vampire actor James Marsters is the one who's very much game with the idea, but only if Joss Whedon will be the main puppeteer of the show. Alyson Hannigan, who played Willow, suggested a Buffy cartoon. Bad-turned-good girl Cordelia actress Charisma Carpenter played it safe, acknowledging instead ho fans may love the idea of a reboot.

The star of the how, Sarah Michelle Gellar, however, feels that Buffy has already run its course as far as the TV series goes. From her perspective, it might be a bigger disappointment for fans if they are unable to deliver the kind of follow-up that the series deserves.

"And I love that it can live in comic form and graphic novels. There are so many worlds it can live in."

While that feels like the nail in the coffin towards a "no" than a "yes," director Whedon hasn't put out hope just yet,

"Everything sort of finds its way back somewhere. I've been trying deliberately to move forward and do something a little bit different. But yeah, the great thing is everybody looks great, and the other great thing is the show is about growing up. If we did it with these guys, they'd be the age they basically are. They'd probably play a little younger because they can do that. But yeah, you'd see somebody going through their life at a different stage."
