An ex-human hero named Helck has emerged as the unexpected victor.
Despite his claims of harboring the same hatred for humans as any other demon, his true intentions remain a mystery.
To delve into Helck’s motivations for the demon realm, they instructed Vermilio, one of the Four Heavenly Demon Kings, to investigate.
Now, the coveted title of Demon King hangs in the balance, and the fate of the entire Demon world rests on Vermilio’s shoulders.
Is the Helck Manga Ongoing or Finished?
The Helck manga, written and illustrated by Nanaki Nanao, is finished with 12 volumes.
The 12th volume of the Helck manga was published and released on May 11, 2018.
However, it is important to note that only the Japanese version of the manga is finished.
The English-translated version of the Helck manga is still ongoing. The fifth volume of the manga is slated to come out on November 14, 2023.
Helck Volume 5 revolves around Helck revealing how he became the disgraced hero that he is today.
The manga was first serialized on the MangaONE app and Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday.
Shogakukan compiled the chapters of Helck into 12 tankobon volumes, released between August 2014 and May 2018.
Later, in April 2022, they started publishing new edition volumes, which included color pages from the original series and new covers.
The manga is also adapted into an anime series that is available to stream on HIDIVE as part of the platform's Summer 2023 simulcast catalog.
