Even though the main characters of Hazbin Hotel are demons, some live up to their name as antagonists. The animated musical adult series has a total of three antagonists: Velvette, Valentino, and Vox; otherwise known as The Three Vs.

His first appearance in the webcomics is the prequel's second chapter, which highlights Alastor's backstory. He also did a brief cameo in the pilot episode.

Vox is one of the Overlords of Hell. He appears as a slim, technology-looking demon with a height of seven feet.

To complete his appearance, he wears a striped tuxedo with a black and red striped shirt, a red bow tie, and a black top hat with antennas coming out of it.

Instead of a circular head, he has a flat-screen TV on top of his body. He also has red eyes with light blue pupils, light blue teeth, and some blood flowing from one side of his mouth.

His powers include electrical manipulation, scrying, demonic magic, screening, and interferences.

He leads a company that distributes several services, including Voxflix, Voxtagram, and many other technologically-inclined products that start with the letter "V".

When he was still alive, Vox was a normal human being who lived in the 1950s. He is said to have died due to an unknown cause but was reborn as a powerful demon in Hell. Throughout all this, he met Alastor and they instantly became archenemies.

Although the reason behind their dispute has never been discussed, it's possible that Vox's love for technology is what made Alastor dislike him. This is because Alastor is an old-school demon who prefers the Victorian style. He hates anything to do with technology.

In one of the episodes, we see Vox taunting Alastor by hijacking a TV signal and making his face appear across a storefront display where Alastor was watching from. This made Alastor swear, which is said to happen very rarely.

You can continue watching their rivalry in Hazbin Hotel to understand more about the personality of the two characters.
