It has been several months since Jeremy Renner's shocking accident but the Marvel star has been recovering steadily. Not surprisingly, Hailee Steinfeld is proud of her Hawkeye co-star's speedy road to recovery.

Hailee Steinfeld is currently promoting Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she also discussed her other projects. When Jeremy Renner's quick recovery was mentioned, Steinfeld immediately expressed her pride for her Hawkeye co-star.
"I mean, if there is a real-life superhero in anyone, it is that man," she said. "I am just so beyond grateful to see how well he’s doing."
"So I guess I could say I’m not surprised," Steinfeld added. "He is just so unbelievably strong."
"The amount of strength and bravery and courage that he has had through his whole recovery and healing process has just been astounding. I was able to see him a few weeks ago, and again, he’s a freaking superhero," she continued with a laugh.
Jeremy Renner Health Status: Marvel Star Finally Recovering From Traumatic Accident
Jeremy Renner has suffered numerous injuries after a snowplowing accident in his home on New Year's Day. He suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries while he was plowing the road about a quarter mile from his Tahoe home.
According to reports, Renner was reportedly trying to get his family out after a massive New Year's Eve storm. However, the Snowcat accidentally ran over one of Renner's legs and the injury was causing major blood loss.
Since then, Renner has shared several updates about his recovery. He is now working to gain mobility and is expected to be ready for work by the end of the year.
In the meantime, Hailee Steinfeld reprises her role as Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen aka Spider-Woman in the animated sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The movie is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
