In just the whole series, Hawkeye gets another achievement as he secures the highest kill count in a single MCU release. Throughout the show, he shows impeccable skills, as if never diminishing through the years and he just keeps getting better and better, now with an impressive arsenal of trick arrows. What’s counted is the on-screen kills.
Hawkeye is now the seat holder of being the one who has the highest on-screen kill count in the bloodiest release of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This means that he is considered the most lethal in just one show. It is considered in its entirety and the Christmas entry of the MCU is also the bloodiest of them all, even beating out others who were powered.
Majority of the kill count of Hawkeye is attributable to the series finale wherein he and Kate Bishop had to take down hundreds of the members of the Tracksuit mafia as Kingpin goes all out to eliminate Eleanor Bishop who just quit their alliance, and of course, Hawkeye who turned out to be Ronin and wiped off the criminal underworld of New York City.
His record is a whopping 50 to 55 bodies in total and this doesn’t even include those who were just injured somewhere non-lethal as well as the arrows which couldn’t kill. The number has with it the two members of the Tracksuit mafia in a van shrunk by the Pym arrow and taken by the owl because, who knows whatever happened to them, right?
Hawkeye has beaten Iron Man in his first film during his escape from the Ten Rings which is around 35 bodies. Hawkeye also outnumbered the kill count of Winter Soldier which is around 45 bodies which is counted from all of his MCU appearances. Hawkeye’s record was secured in just one MCU project and it is in his titular series.
Clint Barton has a dark past and it is no surprise that he achieved the highest on-screen kill count in one MCU project. It paid off, of course, as he was able to spend Christmas with his family, with Kate and Lucky the Pizza Dog with them.
