Hawkeye: Hailee Steinfeld Reveals Whether Kate Bishop Survived The Blip

Fans finally got to meet Kate Bishop in the first two episodes of Hawkeye and not surprisingly, we have a lot of questions about the intriguing new character. For instance, was she one of the people who was snapped away by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War? Hailee Steinfeld has addressed this question and she has an awesome reason for her answer.

In the first episode of Hawkeye, it is confirmed that Kate was one of the people who were stuck in the middle of the Battle of New York. However, she was somehow saved by Hawkeye, which led to her aspiring to be just like her hero.

But if Kate survived the Battle of New York, did she also avoid being snapped away by Thanos in Infinity War? Hailee Steinfeld told TheWrap that her character didn't turn into dust during the Blip.

"No, I believe that we see her survive," Steinfeld said. "And we see, you know, loss there as well. And that didn't happen to her."

It wouldn't be a surprise if Kate was one of the people who got left behind when Thanos used the Infinity Gauntlet. Of course, this hasn't been confirmed by Hawkeye just yet. However, we're hoping that we'll get a glimpse at Kate's life during the Blip in the next few episodes.

The first two episodes of Hawkeye already had Kate putting on the Ronin suit and helping Clint Barton out (sort of) in facing off against the Tracksuit Mafia. However, the second episode concluded with both of them being captured by the Tracksuits and being brought to the gang's leader who is revealed to be Maya Lopez.

The next episode of Hawkeye has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is confirmed to be one of the three episodes that will be directed by Bert & Bertie. The episode will premiere on Disney+ on December 1, 2021.
