Han Solo Film Rumored to be Searching for Female Lead of Color

The upcoming Han Solo film has narrowed its search for a female lead down to four women and none of them are white, asserts Mashable's Jeff Sneider. You can see his tweet on the subject below:

Though unconfirmed, Sneider's assertion has led to speculation that the lead for the Han Solo movie might be none other than Sana Starros. The character was introduced in Star Wars #6, a comic by Jason Aaron and John Cassaday that was released in June of 2015.

Sana claimed to be Han's wife- it turned out they only got fake-married as part of planned robbery. Han ended up making off with Sana's cut of the cash and she chased him across the galaxy to get it back. Pretty rude, Han.

Despite this complicated backstory, Sana turned out to be a pretty good ally and even helped Leia with a fight in a later comic. If the new female lead indeed turns out to Sana Starros, it will be interesting to see if she has the same contentious relationship with Han as in the comic.

I'd like to see Han and Sana as a cool smuggling team. What about you? Would you like to see Sana Starros in the movie? Or do you think the female lead will be someone else?
